The Sunnyland Stomp is a free-ranging annual summer celebration of the talent and creativity hiding behind the garden gates of the Sunnyland Neighborhood! Stomp Stops are located at participating homes and businesses in the neighborhood, where hosts feature games, art, activities, music, and more! There are many ways to celebrate the spirit of Sunnyland, which is what makes this neighborhood event so special.

The Sunnyland Stomp was founded in 2009 by Alice Clark, who was inspired to organize an event in her own neighborhood after attending a similar summer celebration while traveling in Scandinavia. In 2010 the Stomp was recognized with a Mayor’s Arts Award, and since then, more and more people visit the Sunnyland Neighborhood each July to check out the surprises our hosts have in store on Stomp Saturday. While every Stomp-er has a special place in our hearts, we were particularly giddy in 2022 to spot Rick Steves, renowned travel writer and television personality, Stomping around the neighborhood. Each year, there is always something new to discover at the Stomp - we hope to see you in Sunnyland this summer!
